Well you have already demonstrated that you cannot be trusted with confidential information, so that takes you out of consideration.   As for the rest, I would consider them to be in the "few" category that would serve on various boards.  I am sure that several do.

Thats a result of there being too few intelligent people left in the valley to choose from.

Did you ever notice that some of the same people keep getting appointed to the governing boards of public and private agencies in our city?

Is it that so few are willing to perform public service?
