rr i do not think the board of control, the mayor and council knows the true financial stability of the city. if viennia, austria uses solar street lights, why not ytown?

Yeah maybe, once you give them the money to do that with.

I drove through a few areas suffering power failures last night.  The homes were dark and street lights were out.  I did notice one exception.  The solar sidewalk lights were still functioning.  Maybe the city should start to invest in a few solar street lights to make our city a little safer during power outages.
