YOUNGSTOWN – First Night© Youngstown announces the third in its series of First Night Fridays on Friday, November 13, 2009. Veteran FNY performer Sterling Anderson's smooth, classic vocal stylings will be showcased at Café Cimmento from 5-7 pm. Guest host Lauren Lindvig of WFMJ will join the board and volunteers of First Night Youngstown.

First Night Friday is a free event that highlights performers and venues of First Night© Youngstown, which takes place on December 31 each year. First Night© Youngstown celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.

First Night Friday will feature free entertainment from Sterling Anderson and free hors d'oeuvres by Café Cimmento. There is no charge to enjoy the event, and all are welcome to attend and learn more about the tradition of First Night, purchase their admission button early, get a sneak peak of scheduled performers and venues for this year's event, and view a retrospective gallery of past year's logos as well as this year's new logo, designed by Sandra Cika of InSite.

This First Night Friday event will also kick off First Night Youngstown's first Gobbler's Run and Fun Walk, which will occur Saturday, November 14, at 9:00 am (registration at 7:45am). For details or to register, please contact Event Chair Councilman John R. Swierz at 330-788-5114.
