Why There is so much Mud on West Side Sidewalks

Muddy sidewalks were observed at four locations this week.

The cause was homeowners parking their cars on the front lawn.  A heavy car forces mud up from under wet sod and then the mud it tracked onto the sidewalk and street.

I thought there was a city rule about parking on lawns.
