Black Barrels Along Price Road in Mill Creek Park

I passed this location today.  A crew was using some type of drilling equipment to take core samples where the barrels had been located.

Could the barrels be from the sewage overflow project study?  MS Consultants is supposed to be looking at the sewage overflow from heavy rains into the lakes in the park.

I drove through Mill Creek Park the other day and noticed some black barrels placed along Price Road boarding Lake Glacier.

What is the purpose of the barrels?
