Dear Pastor,

Last year our ministry served over 200 families in downtown Youngstown.  We gave away food, clothing and health information   We enjoyed the day so much that we are planning an event for September 12th in downtown Girard this year.  Mayor Melfi welcomed us and confirmed there is a need to help those who are having a hard time.  The United States of America is in need of helping one another and we must begin at home.  Gathering food, clothing and other household items is our focus at this time.  We are asking your ministry to help by donating anyone of these items.  We are also in need of tents, tables and chairs.  Please help us, to help people help themselves.

Our event will be held inside and outside the Old Wellman theater which is currently known as Jesus is the Way Ministries 29 W. Liberty St.  They are hosting our event this year and will accept donations on behalf of Power Ministries.  Chase Bank and the Eagles Club, Girard have donated the parking lot directly behind the theater.  Mayor Melfi wll help us to open the event.  Stambaugh Chorus and the Beatitude Choir has agreed to sing during the event along with other guest speakers and musicians.  We need volunteers who will help pass out flyers in the area two hours before and during  the event (evangelism).

Not only do we need your help, but we would like to share the blessings that followed our event last year.  Signs and wonders did follow.  People were saved, healed and delivered.  Powerful testimonies of the goodness of Jesus were told.
