Is There A TV Reporter's Dress Code?

Pictures of what caused this question are needed. Or at least a couple more details.

Whatever was being worn hopefully it was an attractive person that is a real female (kinda hard to tell these days) and not some old guy in a button down shirt and some plaid shorts with tall white socks and crocs on his feet.

Not that there's anything wrong with that old guy's style, it's just not what I want to see violating a dress code.

I was watching the 5:00 p.m. news on local TV today.  Viewing one story made me question if there is a dress code for on-air reporters.

Maybe it was a ratings gimmick.
