Grief 101- Canfield

When: Friday, May 15, 2020 - 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Where: Canfield Library at CN Meeting Room (Large)

Grief 101 is a one-hour presentation on understanding the grieving process and how grief affects everything in our life. Kim Calhoun, Bereavement Facilitator from Hospice of the Valley, will discuss coping with feelings of sadness, anger, guilt, anxiety, and emptiness. She will demonstrate a few intentional steps that can help an individual begin to regain a sense of order and peace. You don’t need to face this transition alone. This program is open to anyone who has experienced a loss. Literature on grief, the company of supportive others, and information about the grieving process will be provided. Meeting every third Friday of the month.
