Youngstown plans autonomous transit and downtown redevelopment

A big change is on the way for several streets in downtown Youngstown next year. SMART-2 is $22 million dollar transportation infrastructure project that will renovate the downtown and the Fifth avenue cooridor. The goal is to improve connectivity from the downtown to YSU to the hospital by implementing autonomous shuttles to those locations.
