Group files appeal in fight over trees on Newton Falls school property

A group fighting to stop the Newton Falls School district from selling off trees from property filed an appeal this week after a magistrate decided the three property owners didn't have legal standing to proceed with their case. Plaintiffs Werner Lange, Patti Hanzes and David Hinchman filed a lengthy appeal in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court on Monday.  The magistrate issued their final appealable order August 14 and gave the plaintiffs 14 days to appeal the ruling according...
