Hazmat called to YSU campus for possible 'chemical incident'

A hazmat crew and the Youngstown Fire Department were called out to the Ward Beecher Planetarium Tuesday morning. Dispatchers say they were called after a fire alarm went off and confirmed a hazmat crew was called in. A Penguin Alert from YSU was sent out around 6:40 a.m., saying that Ward Beecher is closed at this time while the Youngstown Fire Department investigates an alarm.
