Dog bites, flattens tire in Niles

According to a police report, a pit bull bit and flattened a woman's tire while she was on Belmont Avenue in Niles Wednesday.  The woman told police she was at the intersection of Henry Street shortly after 9:30 a.m. when the dog bit her Jeep's front drivers side tire. Witnesses say the dog was at Pit-n-Git and had been chasing other cars and biting at other tires.  The dog warden located and took possession of the dog after the incident.
