Car thefts continue in Howland

Another vehicle was stolen in Howland Township early Thursday morning. Reports indicate there have been at least seven car thefts in the area recently.  The vehicle, a white BMW X1, was taken from a driveway on Cain Drive NE just before 3:00 a.m.  The vehicle's owner told police the car was unlocked, has a push to start engine and that the key fob needed to start it was in a backpack in the backseat.  The vehicle was recovered around 4:00 a.m. Friday b...
