Newton Falls City covered bridge to close for repairs

Newton Township drivers who take the Newton Falls covered bridge will need a new route starting in July.  Newton Falls City plans on making repairs to the covered bridge which allows drivers to pass over the Mahoning River.  The City plans on closing down the bridge, which is located on River Street in between Arlington Boulevard and E. Jay Street.  Repairs will begin on Monday, July 1 and are planned to end on Monday, September 2.
