YCSD meets with Academic Distress Commission

The Youngstown City Schools Board of Education met with the new Academic Distress Commission for the first time this afternoon, showing signs the two parties are willing to work together for the district. At the meeting, the groups discussed progress at the elementary level and working toward aligning the schools' curriculum to meet state standards.
