Fight over $20 scratch-off leads to assault charge in Youngstown

A Youngstown man is now facing assault charges after police say he got into a fight with a woman over a $20 scratch-off lottery ticket. According to a police report, officers responded to a call early Friday around 2:15 a.m. at Siliman Street.  A woman told police that Derrick Berry, 43, had grabbed her by the head and started pulling out her braids over the $20 lottery ticket. An officer found two braids that matched the woman's on the floor, the report said.  ...
