Maplewood Schools begin demolition of elementary school

The walls will soon be coming down on the former Greene Elementary School in North Bloomfield.  The school was at one time part of the Maplewood School District but was closed due to declining enrollment.  A recent auction was held to help cover the $154 thousand demolition costs. According to the district's website, community members had a chance to walk through the halls of the school for a final time last Saturday.
