Judge calls insurer 'barbaric' for denying cancer therapy

A federal judge in Miami recused himself from a case, saying he can't be impartial in deciding a lawsuit challenging a health insurance provider over denial of coverage for a patient who sought proton beam therapy as treatment for prostate cancer.
