Officials from Vallourec Start say a damage assessment is underway after a furnace explosion that left some community members in Liberty and Girard feeling the ground shaking.  Youngstown fire was on the scene at the plant on Route 422 around 8:30 pm after hearing reports that one of the plant's electrical, industrial furnaces blew.
