Parking ban in Salem beginning Saturday night

A parking ban will be in effect in the City of Salem beginning on Saturday at 9:00 pm. The ban is scheduled to remain in effect until 9:00 am Monday. This ban means there is to be no parking on any street within the city limits. The Salem Police Department warns that those who ignore the ban will be issued a citation and have their vehicles towed.
