838th Homecoming!!!!!

One hundred and seventy five Soldiers from the 838th MP CO will arrive back home to Ohio on Thursday, Sept 25th after a year long deployment to Afghanistan.  Soldiers from the unit are from all over Ohio and Pittsburgh. There are several soldiers that are from Youngstown and the  surrounding areas in this unit.

Welcome Home Ceremony and Freedom Salute will be held Thursday, Sept 25th at 5 PM

We are asking that community members, groups, organizations and businesses line the roads starting at exit 9A to E Midlothian Blvd to Lake Park Rd and to the Church. Feel free to wave your signs, flags, banners and balloons to show your support and to let our soldiers know that you appreciate their service to our country.  We expect the unit to be bused in and arrive sometime after 3:30pm .
