Where Do The Crows Go?

I drove north on 680 this evening just after sunset.  Thousands of crows were in the trees lining 680.

Why do the crows like this spot?

They came to roost in my backyard. They heard i throw my uneaten pancakes to the bdm birds.

Two days ago I was in Cornersburg at about 4:20 p.m.  For several minutes hundreds of crows were observed flying east fairly high in the sky.  Where were the crows flying to roost for the night.

Several years ago crows used to roost in a treeline along 680.  Is that still the case?
