New safety record set in safe driving corridor in Trumbull County

A new safety record has been set in what is called the safe driving corridor along Interstate 76 and 80. The Ohio State Highway Patrol tells 21 News, there have not been any serious injury crashes in the stretch between State Route 534 and Interstate 80 in Trumbull County for more than 104 days.  Troopers have stepped up patrols in this area to monitor distracted driving.
