Police/Fire agreements

 The city has a mutual aid agreement with Struthers for both Police and Fire.  When a pursuit starts in one city they can continue  into another jurisdiction.  YPD chief and I recently met with Struthers PD Norris , Safety Director Wildes, and 2nd Ward councilmember Bob Stouffer to discuss issues of mutual concerns.  The meeting set the table for future  meetings.

I saw that the Struthers Police pursued a car into Youngstown, where it wrecked on Shady Run. This made me wonder, what type of agreements do we have with surrounding cities/townships/villages/universities in regards to our police and fire departments operating outside of the city?

Are all of the agreements two way?

Also, do we have the ability to use any other city resources to help our neighbors in the event of an emergency?
