Transformer explosion leaves thousands without power in Mercer County

Thousands are without power in Mercer County. As of 7:30 p.m. 2,385 customers are without power.  Viewers tell 21 News, the entire sky lit up blue before the outages.  At this time it is unknown what caused the outages.  21 News has reached out to FirstEnergy for comment.  Stay connected with this developing story on wfmj.com and on the 21 News app.
