Youngstown Police Department welcomes newest detective

The newest detective on the force is a familiar face within Youngstown Police Department.  Officer Jose Morales Jr. was promoted to the rank of Detective Sergeant on Monday.  Morales was appointed as a Police Officer with the Youngstown Police Department on November 7, 2011.   Friends and family of Morales applauded while his father pinned his new pin onto his suit jacket.
