YSU honor society holds benefit for child with cleft lip

Community members came together for a benefit for nine-month-old Derek Markley, Jr., who was born with a cleft lip and no palate.  The Youngstown St. Patrick Church and YSU Honor society co-hosted the benefit on Sunday. It was part of the church's monthly "Sauce and Song" event. Markley's mother quit work to care for her son who requires hours of special care.
