Mercer County D.A. resigns following conviction

The District Attorney for Mercer County has submitted his resignation, following his conviction on several criminal charges.  According to a release, seventy-three-year-old District Attorney Miles Karson has submitted his resignation as Mercer County district attorney, making it effective 4:30 p.m. Friday, February 1st.  Karson was convicted earlier this month on several criminal charges.  Karson was initially facing 17 misdemeanor charges, including obstruction of g...
