Yes, apparently the owner of the building next door (let's call him John, I'm not sure of his real name) runs a strip bar (possibly the New Affair?). The owner of the colorful building (Let's call him Steve) wanted to open a male strip bar, like Chipendales, but the city would not allow him. So, Steve, who owns the white building, put up signs and colored the building crazy colors in protest.

There seems to be a story behind this colorful south side building.  Would anyone from the neighborhood like to make a comment?
