Lordstown police warn residents of a Social Security phone scam

Watch out for the latest phone scam that asks people for their Social Security numbers.  The Lordstown Police Department has received several reports from residents about this scam.  According to Lordstown Police, these residents are receiving calls that their Social Security numbers are being used fraudulently.  Police suggest not calling the number back and do not give any information to the callers.
