Boardman man drives car up utility pole wires

On December 27 just after 2 am, Boardman police were called to Halbert Drive and Linger Place because of an accident that ended with a car propped up on utility pole wires.  Boardman police say that when they arrived the driver, 44-year-old Robert Pappas, was already out of his vehicle and standing near the accident.  According to the police report, Pappas appeared very unsteady on his feet and smelled of alcoholic beverages.
