If he supports McCain, make sure he doesn't bring it up... Unions aren't fond of him.

My husband accepted a job at Delphi and starts Monday. I've heard more positive things about Delphi(emerging out of bankruptcy,good pay, etc) and he's hearing mixed (good pay but will get laid off). He will be in the union after 90 days. Any comments/opinions?  Someone had said he will get perks like GM discount. Anything else worth mentioning? I own a Saturn and he owns a Ford so I'm wondering if he'll get harassed for owning the competition.
