Santa Claus visits homes in Sharps ville as part of a 70 year tradition

Santa Claus visited hundreds of homes in Sharpsville Sunday night. The Service Club has kept this 70- year- old tradition going. Since 1948, Santa has visited every home in Sharpsville on Christmas Eve. The tradition has since been changed to the day before Christmas eve. As long as the porch light was on, Santa knocked at the door. He gave out popcorn balls and toys to all of the boys and girls. According to organizers, last year Santa Claus saw more than 700 children in Sharps...
