Senator Brown's bill to expand maternal care signed into law

This week, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown's (D-OH) bill to expand maternal care in underserved and rural communities was signed into law.  According to a news release, Brown's bill, the Improving Access to Maternity Care Act, will work to identify areas lacking maternal health care professionals and provide incentives for providers practicing in those areas, to help ensure women have access to timely, high-quality maternity care.  Brown's bill is becoming law after a recent Oh...
