FAFSA Day with the Mahoning County College Access Program

When: Saturday, January 12, 2019 - 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Where: Main Library at Career and Job Center (CJC)

Need help filling out the FAFSA? This free event, presented by the Mahoning Valley College Access Program and hosted by the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, assists students and parents with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is the federal application that is required to receive federal financial aid including the Federal Pell Grant and student loans as well as need-based state grants.
Parent(s) and student, please bring the following items to complete the FAFSA: completed 2017 federal tax return (if parent filed online tax retrieval tool can be used instead), Social Security numbers of student and parent, asset and investment information (stocks, bonds, rental property value; do not include the value of the home you live in or retirement accounts), as well as the amount in savings and checking accounts.  For teens and parents of teens.
