Papa Johns

This morning coming back from the bank I saw a line a block long waiting to get in to Papa John's for their .23 cent pizzas. I know that this was a serious loss deal but it gave me a thought. How many Papa John's are there in this area? I counted 5 in the phone book, and if all the stores had the same long lines and can maintain those lines through the day a whale of a lot of pizza pies went walking out the door.

What do you think would happen if all the downtown grub shops got together and had a whale of a sale day on stomach stretchers that would draw long lines with each grub shop having one item on sale so that in order to get a full meal, folks would go to each grub shop for the whole deal package.

If pizza lovers are willing to stand in block long lines for one lousy 12" pizza, they might also be willing to stand in block long lines to get a full meal. It would also be great PR for the grub shops.
