Valley leaders respond to Stand Your Ground bill

The Ohio House of representatives passed the so-called Stand Your Ground bill Wednesday. Now as that legislation heads to the senate, what could the proposed law mean for the valley? Stand your ground shifts the burden of proof from the defendant to the prosecution.  The state would have to prove the person shot someone NOT in self defense.   It would also eliminate the duty of a person to retreat before using lethal force.
