Political Campaign Strategies "Keep this for your files"!

"A political campaign should not be merely a series of events and activities haphazardly sequenced and arbitrarily timed."

Message Sequence Strategies

1.   Ignore the Opposition: (Open Positive---Remain Positive to the Close of the Campaign)

2.   Classic: (Start Positive and do not initiate an unprovoked attack against your opposition---Respond to opposition attack; May require going negative/comparative against opposition depending upon opposition attacks and effectiveness of your response---End Positive)

3.   Relentless Attack: (Open and maintain negative/comparative---Introduce a dual track along the way with some positives at various times after opening---Close dual track positive and negative/comparative)

4.   Aggressive: (Open Positive---Go Negative before the opposition does---Respond to opposition attacks as necessary---Close either single track positive or dual track positive and negative/comparative)

5.   Frontal Attack: (Open Negative/Comparative---Then go positive and respond to opposition on a dual track--- Close either single track positive or dual track positive and negative/comparative)
