There are probably lots of folks (like myself) who
grew up in Youngstown and have since moved on to other
cities, and seeing your photos on the webshots site
probably makes some of them reminiscent of their
earlier days - and maybe a little homesick too!

I noticed that webshots has a "guest book" link for
each photo folder, too bad folks won't take a minute
and say hi when visiting.

I just received the weekly report on the number of people who have visited my Webshots site, and this last week 2,133 visits were made bringing the total to 4,474.

Now in the grand scheme of things, this is no big deal, I know, yet when you consider the fact that all the site contains is a few old pictures of Youngstown, it makes me wonder if there is a real interest in our city.

None of the pictures are particulairly good, all things considered, and I certainly have not been spending much time promoting the site other than here, and two other groups I belong to, so it's obvious that people are interested in our city.

I only wish that the reports were more detailed so that I could see where these hits are coming from, but even with the little info that I get, I'm encouraged.

Just some thoughts on a cold day.
