Policy Matters Ohio reports that the number of payday lenders in Ohio rose from 107 locations in 1996 to 1,562 in 2006.  A panel including Attorney James Callan and Rose Carter, a financial counselor at Family Service Agency, will discuss what this trend means for the cycle of debt that is the scourge of the poor.
