At my Webshots ladynews500 site I have just posted a series of pictures of the old Palace Theater that include three that I didn't post in our Yahoo site. If anyone has any pictures of this theater that I don't have please post them. The Palace was without question the most beautiful theater that we had downtown, bar noneincluding Powers (Warner). It was a plush movie palace with the largest stage in town, lavish dressing rooms rivling anything in New York, and filled with great art in a gallery on the mezzenine. It's lounges were works of art, and as we all know some of the biggest stage shows played this theater.
