West Side Water Tank

The cloth covering has been removed.  The cables and metal framing are still attached.

The tank's color is now a muddy gray.  I hope this is not the final color.

The water tank is now completely encased in cloth from top to bottom.  I believe they are sand blasting the tank in advance of painting it.  The cloth enclosure prevents sand and paint dust from getting on homes in the area.

The tank now has some metal rods sticky out at an angle near the top.  Looks like a porcupine in the making.

is this water tank in need of major repairs?

I noticed two men at the very top of the west side water tank today.  I suspect they were doing an inspection or maintenance.
