I just witnessed several multicar accidents on the Madison Expressway.  Each of the accidents occurred on bridges that were ice covered.  Moisture existed on the roadways because of the snow falling throughout the day.  As the temperature dropped, the wet bridges froze immediately.  Our wet bridges have to be treated with ice melt before the temperature drops.
