Yeah, it's the 'driving while....' that I'm concerned about.

I will confess that I smoked weed back in my high school days and for some time into my twenties...
but then I woke up one day and realized I was getting a little too old to keep up the craziness and
proceeded to get on with my adult life and left it behind.

I guess it was Nancy Reagan calling my house one day and telling me I could "just say no" that
was the final straw... I had to run out in my front yard right away and tell the rest of the neighborhood
"It's OKAY !!  WE CAN STOP NOW!! NANCY REAGAN SAYS IT'S OKAY!! ""

Personally, I could care less about the pot head who smokes weed in his basement, behind the garage, etc
and doesn't deal in it or bother anybody else with it - that's his business.  Whether or not it should be legalized? 
I'm not so sure that would be a good idea and I don't favor the notion.

Medical Marijuana?  Again, I have no problem with this - as long as it is controlled like any other drug.  Studies
HAVE shown that there are some legitimate uses, ie: Glaucoma (sp?) patients, cancer patients on chemotherapy
and such.

Decriminalize possession of SMALL amounts, for LEGAL ADULTS, used on their OWN property and NOT
while operating a vehicle?  Again, I could care less and have no problem with that.  Let them smoke
their brains out.....it's THEIR grey matter at stake.....not ours.  As long as they're not selling the stuff,
or giving it to MINORS or smoking off of their own property or driving while stoned, I care not.

Gene Krupa, got busted with it.............it was no secret, that the great Jazz musicians used it, it is no secret that current musicians use it, I did when I was younger.


I also am a Jazz musician who attended Dana and can say have studied and performed with many of the regional greats in Jazz.


However, I am a businessman first and even tho, I believe Weed should be legalized, it should not be controlled by a few socialist, NO.
