Youngstown City Water Contamidated

This chemical is a byproduct of the chlorination of water.  When chlorine is introduced to water, it reacts with the organics and one of the results is this chemical.  The treatment plant can adjust the level of chlorine as well as the treatment process to reduce those levels. 

I am sure that by the time these letters were sent out the problem had long since been corrected.

According to today's local newspaper City water users are being warned about contamidated city water.
