Over twenty volunteers came out this morning to tackle the clean up of the former gas station property.  Among those helping were Fourth Ward Councilman Mike Ray and our future Fifth Ward Councilwoman Lauren McNally.

I hope the rain stops long enough so the volunteers can get a lot of work done today.

A pizza lunch will follow the work session.

The commercial property is the former gas station at the corner of S. Schenley and Bears Den Road.

We hope the new fifth ward councilwoman will be there.

On Saturday, May 16, Rocky Ridge Neighborhood volunteers will undertake a cleanup project in an adjoining neighborhood.  The property to be cleaned is actually a commercial property that has not been occupied for about ten years.
