Councilman Gillam was left off the hook, as we were put on it, for tens of thousands in back property taxes. They were sold for pennies on the dollar.

Now the city Land Bank is giving him property. On March 26th of this year he was given a lot on Woodside, showing a ZERO purchase price.

Last night at council Mr. Davignon said it was approved by the Board of Control, and that he no longer owes any taxes.

Why, because he was allowed to weasel out of them?

Does anyone else have trouble getting a grip on this?
