Cornersburg is the most stable area of the city.  Home values there are two to three times high than the city's average.

On the down side, Cornersburg has the city's highest concentration of the elderly.  As residents pass away, the area may see more rental properties.  The neighbor strategy has to include a way to transition home ownership to younger productive residents.

YNDC has completed the first phase of the city planning process, which resulted in a comprehensive data set presented in a 287-page Neighborhood Conditions Report. During the next phase of the planning process, YNDC will engage residents through a series of neighborhood meetings designed to gather input on priorities for stabilization and development for the city at the citywide and neighborhood levels. The input, ideas, feedback, and information received during this process will be integrated with the neighborhood conditions data to develop a series of citywide strategies and strategies for further development at the neighborhood level.
