Carry Crisp Dollar Bills

I've experienced vending machines that won't accept brand new crisp bills and  seem to much prefer the grungier ones provided he corners aren't bent over. At least some of the issue is "operator" error.

A Gripe

When boarding the bus, some people reach into their pocket and pull out a wrinkled dollar bill.  They then spend the next minute trying to feed the wrinkled dollar into the fare box cash slot.

I suggest using crisper dollars or storing the dollars flat in a wallet or purse.
