That is cool. Did Mr. Lincoln win? Being a sand sculptur myself I will say it is really difficult to get details like that. 
It did rain though and the sand was  wet.  That's a plus. 
It is difficult to move a ton of sand in the heat on asphalt ... hats off the contestants!

July 30, Sunday, Wick Recreation Area

9 a.m. - Noon--
Test your golf skills in the Closest to the Pin contest at the Par 3 Golf Course. You'll have nine chances to win a prize. Fee: $5

11 a.m.-- Sunfest Hike. See "Hike for the Health of It!" description.

1 - 4 p.m.--Sand Sculpture Competition. Sculpt a one-ton pile of sand into a work of art. This year's special category is "Structures," so use your imagination to sculpt any man-made landmark. Reserve your sand canvas by calling 330-740-7107.
Nationally known artist Laurie Arntz-Tournoux will give tips throughout the competition. Prizes will be awarded. Fee: $5

Relax and end the day with the sounds of the 7UP Summerfest Spectacular performance.
